PA6-G – natural
Our natural cast polyamide PA6-G - a semicrystalline polymer - has excellent mechanical properties, stiffness and hardness and good wear resistance, as well as fair resistance to thermal aging and good machinability. Good resistance to atmospheric agents and it is also hygroscopic, although less than the extruded one.
Thanks to the possibility of having big dimensions, PA6-G is used for gears, pulleys, etc. It has good resistance to alkali, solvents and synthetic compounds. The use in the electrical field is limited, because its insulation properties vary depending on the humidity. PA6-G is not used in the food industry.
We can supply round bars with standard length 3000 mm, color natural (white) and sheets of 1000x2000 mm (which can be cut into plates).
PA6-G – yellow
A special additional – oil – increases the fluidity of the PA6-G and the possible fields of application, as the friction coefficient is lower. PA6-G+OIL has the same characteristics as PA6-G but is more resistant to impacts and more self-lubricating. It is ideal for the construction of stressed particulars where a particular resistance to use and to effort is needed.
PA6-G+OIL can be supplied upon request. Round bars are 1000 mm long and the standard color is yellow.
PA6-G+OIL sheets are 1000x2000 mm but can be cut into plates (with the return of all remains).
PA6-G+MOS2 – black
This material contains particles of molybdenum sulfide, which improves the resistance to use and fluidity properties. PA6-G+MOS2 is not used in the food industry, but it is largely used for the construction of pulleys, gears, bushings, pinions, etc.
PA6-G+MOS2 is also something that we can supply upon request. Round bars are 1000 mm or 3000 mm long and the color is black. Sheets are 1000x2000 mm but can be cut into plates (with the return of all remains).
