Lead screws and Screws: materials and production

Lead screws are used in the mechanical field and have a threaded hole, where the screw is inserted. The screw produces a linear motion. The combination of these two elements creates motions of adjustment, block or translation. 

The main field of application is the precision mechanics. They are also used in CNC machines (milling machines, etc.), where precision and the correct position of tools are fundamental.
